I Was Kidnapped By Aliens…
June 10, 2007
who wouldn’t let me craft. Would you buy that as a reason for my absence? I didn’t think so… Once the heat was turned up, my productivity and motivation went the other way. I have been working on a few things and I made a lot of progress this weekend so I finally decided I had something to write about.
A couple of weeks ago, I cut some fabric to make myself some out and about pants. Sometimes I wear them as pajama bottoms, and sometimes I wear them as lounge pants. And I have no problems wearing them out and about for a quick trip to the Michaels or Dairy Queen.
I’ve also been spending a fair amount of time cutting fabric for some projects. Here’s some Heather Bailey fabric for Heather Bailey’s pincushions:
And here’s some Heather Bailey fabric for Amy Butler’s Nappy Bag (which I plan to use as a work bag):
And lastly, here’s a picture of my dog. My croffice (craft room/office) is short on real estate. And I’ve been fighting with the dog for space. Not only does she take up most of the the floor, but count how many toys she’s scattered across the floor. Oh the things we let our children get away with…

About Me
Welcome to my spot on the web where I talk about needlework, crafts, and [many] other random things.
A few tidbits about me: I met my husband in college, flirting over tuba letters in the Penn Band. Our dog, CJ, and our cat, Sabrina, round out our family. I'm a sewist, knitter and needlepointer, and an occasional scrapbooker. I love organizing, reading, making jewelry, and hiking. A Chicago girl at heart, I am an avid follower the Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks.
You can email me at mlynapier [at] pobox [dot] com. Thank you for stopping by!
My Etsy Shop
