Pincushion Crazy

July 10, 2007

I have been wanting to make these pincushions ever since I read about them on Heather Bailey’s blog. I had cut the fabric a couple of weeks ago, and then I got some new fabric from my swap buddy Ellia.

I spent part of my 4th of July in front of my sewing machine, finally working on the pincushions. I am pretty pleased with how they turned out. I want to make more. I don’t know what I’m going to do with them, but I’m on a roll!

The brown fabric with little flowers is the fabric from Ellia. It goes well with some fabric I already had in my stash.

About Me

Welcome to my spot on the web where I talk about needlework, crafts, and [many] other random things.

A few tidbits about me: I met my husband in college, flirting over tuba letters in the Penn Band. Our dog, CJ, and our cat, Sabrina, round out our family. I'm a sewist, knitter and needlepointer, and an occasional scrapbooker. I love organizing, reading, making jewelry, and hiking. A Chicago girl at heart, I am an avid follower the Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks.

You can email me at mlynapier [at] pobox [dot] com. Thank you for stopping by!

My Etsy Shop
